The Global Fund Sub Recipients quarterly performance review meeting was held on Friday, September 16 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

Various Global Fund Sub Recipients shared their performance updates and progress reports in line with the action log from the previous performance review meetings.

Speaking at the event, the Health Ministry Permanent Secretary, Dr. Diana Atwine said among others that there is a need to work with the Office Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) to develop a TB prevention strategy in the Uganda Prisons Service and the Uganda Police Force. The Health Ministry PS also talked about the development of a home-grown malaria control strategy-

“We must find a solution to the malaria problem in our generation today not any other time and not any other person. So, each one of us has a big task to bring this solution forward,” she said.
