Over 10,000 reached with mobile TB clinic services

A total of 10, 254 were reached with mobile TB clinic services between March 18th to September 30th, 2022. According to the National TB and Leprosy control programme, 571 (5.6%) 6of these had abnormal Chest X-Ray (CXR). Overall, 267 TB cases were diagnosed and 82% promptly started on TB treatment.

Bacteriological confirmation by Genexpert was at 56%, which is equivalent to 149 of the 267 TB cases that were diagnosed. 5 Rifampicin-Resistant TB cases were notified from the community. Of these, 2 were from Apac district, 1 from Kitgum prison, 1 from Oyam district, and 1 from Amolatar district.
