Grants Overview

The Permanent Secretary/ Secretary To Treasury (PS/ST) is the Authorized Representative for all.

Operation and Fiduciary Oversight: The PSST is supported by Budget Directorate under the leadership of the Director Budget, and a Funds Coordination Unit (FCU) under the Leadership of the Coordinator / PFM Reforms Coordination Unit. The implementation is done jointly with the Ministry of Health focusing on the programmatic implementation.

The Global Fund has supported Uganda since its inception 20 years ago. Uganda to date has signed a total of 20 Grants with Global Fund amounting to USD2.1Billion with disbursements to date worth USD1.6Billion.

Our Address

The Funds Coordination Unit (FCU) was set up in the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED) as the Principal Recipient (PR) to handle day-to-day oversight duties as they relate to the implementation of the Global Fund Grants.
